choosing to sow good things

Save for later!

Even if you don’t see it now, sowing good things will bear good things.

Reaping what we sow is a life truth, a simple idea, cause and effect. Plant green beans seeds, get green beans.

Things reproduce after their kind.

I long for a garden, but we have so much prep to do, not sure how long it will take to get it going. In the meantime, we might try some green bean seeds in a small area.

Unlike a garden, in our personal lives, our work or families, we may not see the results of sowing good things for years. But eventually, we will see something good come from good that is sown.

Sow truth. Plant help, kindness, balance, and integrity.

Stay honest. Do the right thing. Not always easy, but we can be the good in the world or part of the corruption. No one is perfect, but we make so many choices in just one day.

So, it is a good habit to just tell the truth even about small things.

Sometimes, I am torn between ideas when writing, but I try to keep my core beliefs central in my work. I try to encourage, not preach. Love, not criticize. Plant balance and truth, reality and kindness. Be better than I was yesterday or the day before.

We can do the right things and maintain our integrity.

Integrity: firm adherence to a code, especially moral or artistic values : incorruptibility,  an unimpaired condition, soundness, or the quality or state of being complete or undivided,  completeness.

We can do it with help of the universal truth that things reproduce after themselves.

We can do it with God’s word.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Whatever it is that you are working on that is beneficial to others in some way and blesses even a small corner of the world will produce something good, because things reproduce after their kind.

Luke 6:44 and 45
44For each tree is known by its own fruit. Indeed, people do not gather figs from thornbushes, or grapes from brambles. 45The good man brings good things out of the good treasure of his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Truth and integrity are powerful.

When we sow leafy power greens, we get  LEAFY POWER GREENS!

Matthew 7:16, 17 and 18a
16By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.…
Mattthew 12:35
The good man brings good things out of his good store of treasure, and the evil man brings evil things out of his evil store of treasure.

Psalm 1:3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

That is my prayer for you and I, that we are planted by the water, we will bring forth fruit in our season, we will not wither, we will prosper.

Finally, I pray that we  are filled with truth and live with integrity.

Let’s sow good things.

So good things. Plant help, kindness, balance.

Sow good things.

Sow good things.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.
