Love & acceptance of myself is a golden filter.

Save for later!

I used to feel beautiful and smart, sassy and soft like a breeze. I did not have to wait for someone to tell me that. Love and acceptance of myself was my golden filter through which I saw the rest of the world.

At first it was uncomfortable. Even when I felt beautiful, I could not say it.

It felt self focused or vain to feel beautiful, but to be truly beautiful is anything but vain. True beauty is my best me. When I give myself to the world without censor or fear, seeing the best in myself and others, it is beautiful and positive.

How we view ourselves is a big filter. We can choose a positive beautiful filter or a negative murky filter.

See through world through a golden filter.

What we believe adds another layer to our filter.

Good or bad, we run everything that comes into our lives or across our view through a filter based on our view of ourselves, and our personal beliefs.

We accept or reject thoughts that come to our minds,

then we gather those things to ourselves in the way that we believe.

Stay with me and read on!

Our minds seek to reproduce what we believe as our reality, to reconcile our inner man with our outer world. An instant resolve of thought , belief, and environment.

Some of what transpires in our lives is out of our control, but there is a deep connection between faith, thoughts, beliefs, and our reality.

1. What we believe may become our reality. Thoughts become things. Faith becomes substance.

FAITH

Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV) 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Our deepest convictions become our reality, so we must be careful to remove or release or root out what is not good or healthy.

Remember things reproduce after their kind. Pull any weed that is not healthy, beneficial, or loving.

Pull the weeds.

A weeded garden produces good fruit.

2. As a man thinks, so is he. We are what we think about, light or dark, good or bad.

THOUGHTS and BELIEFS

Proverbs 23:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…

Our beliefs about God and love are the foundational layer that colors everything.

We draw love to ourselves or repel love based on our beliefs about love. If we feel worthy to be loved, we are loving.

If we believe in a loving God, we share that love easily.

3. If we see/believe/think about ourselves as beautiful and a child of a loving /caring/ good God, then our golden filter of love and acceptance affects everything in a positive way.

“Do to others as you would have them do to you” makes sense.

(Luke 6:31, Matthew 7:12 NKJV)

Because we will do our best (towards ourselves, towards  others, for others)

believe the best (in ourselves, in others)

and give the best (of ourselves, to God, to others)

when we love and accept ourselves and accept his love.

So is your filter golden or faded and dark?

golden waters

4. When we give the best: It will be given to us as well.
Luke 6:38New King James Version (NKJV)

GIVEN BACK

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

True beauty is belief in goodness, love and acceptance, a golden filter through which to see the world. It is life giving, so when I look in the mirror and see beauty, I will share it.

I want to radiate the kind of love I believed in before I let my golden filter tarnish.

You do too. so what kind of love do you believe in?

Barefoot and accepting a golden filter again,
