I woke up thinking about people who are discouraged or weary. They have come so far, changed so much and made their lives better. Things have improved. They have worked so hard on some big changes, but maybe grown tired and overwhelmed from the fight. My message to them is “Don’t give up now.”
Don’t give up.
You can scream and cry, but don’t give up. People may discourage you, but don’t give up.
Whatever you started in good faith deserves a finish. You might have to backtrack a little or start a section over. But, don’t let anything stand in your way. You are capable.
Partnered with God, you are unstoppable.
Luke 18:27 But he said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
If you question whether you should continue, just go back to that moment when you decided what to do and ask yourself “Am I keeping true to the vision? Is God in this?”
If the answers are yes, then don’t give up.
You might need some gas in the tank, a rework or rejuvenation. Stop and regroup if you have to, but don’t give up.
Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Ask yourself “Am I doing everything I can do to make things work?” to look for places to improve.
Be clear. Be relentless and own it.
Do you need clarity? Pray. Get some help. Do some research. Make sure you are on the right track.
Jeremiah 33:2,3
“Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it, the LORD is His name: Call to Me and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
Surround yourself with sound Godly counsel.
Psalm 37:30, 31
The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.…
Work on whatever it is every day.
Focus on your goal and head toward the prize, and do not give up.
Barefoot and writing,
Kim
